Department of Administrative Services, State of Georgia - Atlanta, GA
P-Card Policy Analyst II, March 2026 - Current
P-Card Policy Analyst, September 2022 – February 2026
- Analyze and review purchasing card (P-Card) and procurement processes to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of Statewide and internal state entities' P-Card policies.
- Provide State Entities with technical policy expertise to manage their P-Card program, working closely with them to ensure compliance with State policy and best practices tailored to their specific needs.
- Manage intake, review, and resolve policy-related service requests via the DOAS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, offering responsive policy guidance.
- Collaborate in the development and revision of the Statewide Purchasing Card Policy and support State Entities in creating and maintaining their internal P-Card policies.
- Manage all State Entities P-Card plans, annual updates, and requested amendments to these plans when requested, ensuring all P-Card plans and programs comply with the Statewide Purchasing Card Policy.
- Periodically provide training on P-Card and procurement activities related to policy, and undertake special assignments related to policy.
- Identify best practices in government P-Card and procurement realms and stay informed about current P-Card and procurement activities via training, professional networks, organizations, and relevant publications.
Matrix Housing Services - Minneapolis, MN
Family Housing Stability Advocate & Case Manager, August 2019 – August 2021
- Thoroughly assessed families’ strengths and barriers to obtaining permanent housing and developed a housing strategy that incorporates mitigating any barriers to permanent housing.
- Through the developed strategy, helped the head of households’ become self-sufficient to prevent becoming homeless again. Through work, benefits applications, technical training, or school.
- Assisted in the administering of rapid rehousing funds, establishing the amount of funds that will be needed for the next biennium.
- Participated in community networks and committees in representation of Matrix Housing Services and representing the families program.
- Managed a caseload of 13-27 separate families at any given time.
United States Senate - Minneapolis, MN
Congressional Intern for Senator Amy Klobuchar, September 2018 – May 2019
- Served as liaison between the public and United States federal agencies.
- Performed policy research and analysis.
- Served as an effective, compassionate advocate for individual Minnesotans who needed assistance, with a direct focus on immigration and visas. While also assisting with casework in Veterans Affairs, Social Security Administration, Law, Education (Student Loans) among others.
- Built relationships with different liaisons at several US Embassies and the US Department of State.
- Worked under and assisted a key member of the Somali community and Minneapolis school board.
- Kept an opinion tracker for issues important to Senator Klobuchar's constituents
- Wrote briefing materials for Senator Klobuchar and key staffers

- With the Director of Graduate Programs at Suffolk University, I co-authored an op-ed on changes in voting rights legislation since the 2020 presidential election and the proliferation of misinformation about the election.

- Working as a team, with the provided knowledge and documents about Senator Klobuchar's proposed policies, my role was to help in composing various policy roll-outs for her campaign. These would be used to attract voters and be helpful in summarizing her policy goals.
- Wrote various versions of policy talking points as well as talking points on former President Trump's State of the Union address.
- Gathered information, assisted with composing talking points and researched legalities to be brought up during the first impeachment trial of former President Trump
- Transcribed other candidates interviews, TV appearances, town halls and debates.
- Wrote speeches with full policy backgrounds to ensure all information was accurate.
- Complied opposing candidate’s policy points and wrote talking points for the Senator with those opposing points
- Wrote up summaries of what was going on in the daily news and how the Senator could be asked about it and what she could say regarding her policy.
- Assisted other members of the Amy for America policy team in composing what Klobuchar wanted to speak on during her interview on 10/06/2019 on her interview on CNN's State of the Union with Dana Bash and Jake Tapper.
